MX Player Mastram Plot
Series is about a reluctant pornographic writer Rajaram a small-town bank clerk who aspires to be a litterateur, is inspired by the anonymous author of popular pulp fiction and sex stories in Hindi. His litterateur aspirations are supported by none except his wife Renu. He leaves his job to become a full-time writer, but cannot find a publisher for his book. One publisher agrees only if he would add sensational elements or masala to his dull tale. He gets successful however all credits are attributed to Mastram, not Rajaram.

On location Part, it had been shot extensively in Shimla and Delhi and series has been helmed by Akhilesh Jaiswal, who got his big break when he got the opportunity to co-write Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. He made his directorial debut with Mastram which released on 9 May 2014.
He directed Ballabhpur Ki Roopkatha a web-adaptation of Badal Sarkar’s classic, by the same name. Akhilesh has been an important part of an Anurag Kashyap camp.
