I have had a great time collaborating on the series and we could not control our laughing during scenes since they were so hilarious. We enjoyed the experience with the whole team of Hotstar and Applause [Entertainment]. The web series is humorously relatable and innately Indian. Bringing alive the spirit of any kind of Delhiite is always an adventurous experience and I expect I have managed to include more peculiarities to this already crazy bunch.”

Although it is technically a recreation of the British original, The Office saw fit to copy the more iconic and popular US remake. Upon its launch, The Office was criticized by viewers and critics alike, being tagged as “embarrassing” and “cringeworthy.” It is shocking that Hotstar has seen fit to offer the web series a second installment, although considering the short 2.5-month gap between the two installments, it is possible both seasons were together shot, or a second installment was part of the first one.
“Located in Faridabad, the web series records the 9-to-5 lives of the workers at Wilkins Chawla as they make their way through their ordinary routine that invariably leads to comical scenarios. From TP Mishra (the obsequious and gullible) and Jagdeep Chadda (a ‘fun’jabi branch manager) to unexpected relations that can happen in the corporate realm, this slice-of-life comedy shows relatable characters seen in daily workplace.”
Mallika, whose acting experience comprises Namastey England and web series The Trip, claimed that she loved working on the series. Co-director Bumpy claimed that the team is happy to carry on the story of the workers at Wilkins Chawla, and the new employee commits to add in more laughter.
