An action-thriller Malang is a combo of drama and suspense. The Malang movie is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Jay Shewakramani. Earlier, Malang was planned to be released on Valentine’s Day (14 February 2020) but was then shifted to February 7, 2020, to dodge clash with “Love Aaj Kal” starring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan. Malang, at the box office, did pretty well grabbing around 60 crores. And now, the movie is all rolled up to be streamed on a digital platform. Netflix has acquired the film’s digital rights and will be the elite streaming partner of Malang.

Malang is a tale about Advait (portrayed by Aditya Roy Kapur) who happens to cross his paths with a free-spirited girl, Sara (showcased by Disha Patani), when he visits Goa. As it is said opposites attract and the same happens with these two. But seems life has some different plans for them. The movie swaps between the past and present. Sara learns about her pregnancy and tells Advait she won’t abort it. Later a psycho, dishonest cop Michael Rodriguez (played by Kunal Khemu) attempts to rape her but is rescued by Advait. Michael inoculates her with a fatal poison in a state of fury and flings her off a bridge with the assistance of his equally dishonest cop friends. Advait also ends up in jail as he is also administered with the drug.

Five years later, the corrupt cops are being murdered by an unknown assassin, who is none other than Advait, as an act of revenge for Sara’s murder. The story ends on a twist making it more interesting. Anil Kapoor is also a part of the movie playing a truthful cop who pitilessly slays criminals rather than waiting for the law to make justice as he had lost his daughter to the gunshot of the criminal.
